What it does (and when to use it)

  • Retouch / Magic Eraser: remove objects, dust, logos, or imperfections
  • Generative fill: replace or extend areas using a prompt (great for scene fixes and believable edits)

Best results tips

  • Make small, precise selections
  • Include enough context around the area you’re editing
  • For generative fill, describe what should be there, not what you’re removing

Step-by-step

  1. Open an image in the editor
  2. Select Retouch (or Magic Eraser) to remove an object
  3. Use Generative fill when you want to replace with something specific
  4. Iterate: refine selection + adjust prompt until it looks natural

Common issues

  • Repeating patterns / obvious artifacts: make a smaller selection and try again
  • Results look “off”: add more detail (lighting, material, angle) in the prompt
